Our Projects
MNC Partner: Petrofac International Ltd – Sharjah
Project : Asab Full Field Development (FFD) project
Software Used : Smart Plant In-Tools
Scope Of Discipline : Instrumentation
Scope Of Work : Wiring in in-tools & as Wiring in In-Tools:
Development of Wiring Diagrams: Creating detailed wiring diagrams within In-Tools that illustrate how each instrument is connected to junction boxes, control panels, and other field devices.
Cable Routing and Layouts: Defining cable routes and layouts in In-Tools, ensuring optimized paths and adherence to project specifications for wiring and cabling.
Instrument and I/O Tagging: Assigning tags for instruments and I/O points in the In-Tools database, maintaining accurate tracking and consistency across all diagrams and reports.
Signal and Cable Management: Configuring signal types (e.g., analog, digital, HART), cable types, and lengths in In-Tools, while taking into account grounding, shielding, and signal integrity.
Cross-Referencing and Data Verification: Ensuring all wiring data and connections are accurately reflected in the In-Tools database, allowing for easy cross-referencing with other engineering disciplines.
Associated Changes in In-Tools: Updating Instrument Data: Making necessary updates to instrument specifications, calibration ranges, signal types, and other parameters in the In-Tools database based on engineering revisions or client requirements. Modification of Wiring Diagrams: Implementing changes to wiring diagrams in response to project modifications, such as additional instruments, relocation of equipment, or changes in wiring specifications. Change Documentation and Version Control: Tracking and documenting all changes made in In-Tools, maintaining version control to ensure that the latest information is readily available to all stakeholders. Generation of Revised Reports: Extracting and updating reports such as instrument indexes, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and wiring schedules to reflect the latest modifications in In-Tools.
Status: Completed
